Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with TDS GTNXi Pro in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and was wondering if anyone else has encountered this or found a solution.
Whenever I load into a flight using MSFS 2024, I notice that three instances of GTN Simulator (32 bit) are running in Task Manager. This appears to cause the GTN display to double up and flicker. For me, the issue occurs with the default C152 using the default MSFS 2024 add-on integration. If I exit FS2024 two of the processes disappear but one remains, and therein if I restart FS2024 and load into a flight the problem is still there. The only fix is to go into task manager and delete one of GTN Simulator (32 bit) processes.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting steps to help identify the cause and resolve the problem.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm using the TDS GTN 750Xi and GTN 650Xi (version 1.3.1.5) as standalone units on a separate touchscreen monitor with the A2A Comanche in MSFS 2024. Everything works nicely, but the units are always powered on as soon as I start them, regardless of the battery or avionics master switch positions. I'd like them to power on with the avionics master switch instead.

I've already changed the value of "Elec.Power.Source" to 2 (which should be the AvionicsBus option) in the corresponding .ini files, but the units still power on regardless.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello from Germany,

I am flying the Black Square TBM 850 with GTN 750 from TDS GTNXi Pro in FS2024.

With the ILS 25 approach loaded from EDDS (Stuttgart/Germany) I am flying towards the waypoint CI25 (before FAF UNSER) in heading mode with the approach armed.
ILS frequency ( 109.9 ISTW) is active in NAV1.

See picture 1 before reaching the extended centerline of RWY 25.
(Remark: The APR button of the autopilot was pressed shortly after this screenshot, so please see this picture as if the APR button would be armed already).

The problem is, that the aircraft passes the extended centerline without capturing the glideslope (see picture 2).

Sometimes, it works and it captures localizer and glidepath, and sometimes not?

Any idea, what is going wrong?

I was able to install the VC mod in the TL-2000 Sting S4, and it seems to work as intended. The main files for the GTNXi appear to be correctly installed. In my Community folder, I have the following folders:

tds-gtnxi-fsreborn-sting_2024
tds-gtnxi-gauge
marcfsx-instruments-tdssim-gtnxi650
marcfsx-instruments-tdssim-gtnxi750

I am now trying to bring the GTNXi into the cockpit of the Black Square Velocity XL, which is a compatible aircraft for the GTNXi but the center avionics screen is blank. There does not appear to be any options in the aircraft mod to activate the GTNXi. Do I need a folder similar to the first one listed above for the Velocity XL?

Thanks

PS: I had the Velocity XL previously with the PMS version of the avionics. I deleted that and downloaded the TDS version. This is when I discovered the GTNXi was not loading.

Thanks

Hi,
I am using TDS GTNXi Pro 1.3.1.5 in MSFS 2024 with Navigraph navdata. Aviation Trainer is version 3.10.3.0. GTNXi PC trainer is version 20.42.2.0

The GTNXi shows:

Navigation Database: Navigraph DB

AIRAC cycle: 2608

Effective: 06-AUG-26

At ENBR, Navigraph Charts contains the ADADI 2C/2D RNAV COPTER departure, including ADADI 2D.
However, when selecting PROC → Departure → ENBR in the GTNXi, the ADADI helicopter departures are not present at all.
Could you please confirm whether helicopter departures at existing airports such as ENBR are currently supported by the GTNXi Pro, and whether this is a known navdata issue?
I can provide screenshots of the GTNXi database information and the Navigraph chart if required.

Kind regards
There is no obvious way to see if the Garmin Trainer is installed.
It will not work on my new 2024 install if the SIM is not running.
For the Pro version ?
