GTN750xi in default aircraft in MSFS2024 not working
#1
I own the gtn750xi pro version and it's working correctly in the blacksquare tbm 850. I now wanted to use it in the default aircrafts like the cessna 172 in msfs24. Even though the folders C:\Games\MSFS2024\Community\marcfsx-instruments-tdssim-gtnxi750 and C:\Games\MSFS2024\Community\marcfsx-instruments-tdssim-gtnxi650 are visible in the community folder I cannot see the units in the cessna.  I ran the TDSGPSManager and realised it says "GTNXI PC trainer not installed" (see attachment) However when I press "download and install" it will state that it is installed and it cannot do it again.
When trying to reinstall Gauge 3.0.3 in FS2024 againI get an error message (see attachment). When I click "okay"  in that error-message immediately a next message appears that states a succesful installation (see attachment). I am quite confused here...
I am grateful for some help. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Please reboot the PC, then run the TDS GPS Manager (you need V1.0.1.7 from the TDS website) as an admin (right click on the executable, select Run as Administrator) Then attempt to install the TDS GTNXi Pro.

Let us know how it goes.

I did as you asked me to do. Version of  GPS Manager is 1.0.1.7, ran it as administrator. Installation of GTNxi PC Trainer failed as it was already installed, still the Manager claims it is not installed (see attachment). Reinstallation of Gauge 3.0.3 worked but still no GTN750 in the Cessna 172

Hello,

The installation seems fine, but did you install the aircraft specific mods, from the link below:

Hello, in fact I was not aware that I had to download these mods. Where exactly do I place the downloaded folders (for example the "marcfsx-tdsgtnxi-integration-c172sp" folder?
Thanks a lot for your help so far!

Hello,

As described in the TDS GTNXi PDF manual, the mods are installed in the MSFS 2024 Community folder.

I am having the same issue, but I have just purchased the GTN750Xi Pro. The files are indeed in my community folder.

The issues I am having are with the default Cessna 172 and all my payware planes as well. For the C172, it still appears the standard G1000.

As for my paywares, they do show up on the plane, but the screens are blank. Once I did get the screen to turn on, but there were no charts. Now I cannot even get the screens to turn on.

Thanks.

Hello,

For the C172 you need to select the appropriate Variation from within the MSFS 2024 Aircraft Selection: the Analog variant.

With MSFS 2024 closed, please start the TDS GTNXi Pro form the desktop shortcut and click on the GTN750Xi button, does the screen light up?

Provide us with both the antivirus used as well as the log file from My Documents: TDSGTNXiExeLog.txt

Not to worry, we will find a solution, we always do!

This PC is used only for gaming and MSFS24 is the only game installed. Other then Windows Defender, there are no 3rd party anti virus running.

Hello,

Thank you, the log file does not indicate an error, however we have not received a response to the question:
