Yes, I did receive a message about the space in my window username... and did nothing about it.
I did your workaround and it fixed the problem.. temporarily. My RSG GTN750 worked great, until it simply went away and gave me nothing but a light blue, blank screen.
What I plan now is to redo Windows as necessary to set up a new user account without a space. Does this seem wise to you?
