TDS GTNXi750 Screen Sizing in Air Manager`
#1
Good Morning all,
Im trying to get the TDS GTNXi750 display screen (pop out) from x-plane to fit in the bezel from air manager. It's not a perfect fit and Im unable to drag the lower edge of the display down to fit in the bezel. It keeps trying to maintain the "aspect ratio" and when I have the bottom edge aligned, the right edge is too far over.
How do I correct the fit so it allows one edge to be "drag to fit" and not "maintain aspect ratio"? I hope that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for any help
Jon.

Hello Jon,

Indeed, the default option of the TDS GTNXi is to maintain the aspect ratio for each of the two GTN Xi windows.
This can be easily disabled from the Plugins Menu, TDS GTNXi, select the desire GTNXi Unit, Settings, scroll toward the bottom until you will find and uncheck:
"Keep Aspect Ratio When Resizing"

We hope that you enjoy the TDS GTNXi XPlane!

I un-selected "maintain aspect ratio" in the settings section of the GTNXi 750 plugins section of x-plane, then popped out the window and tried to drag the lower edge. It continued to move the right edge out when I did this. I restarted my computer and tried again. Still nothing. I know it must be something Im missing, but am wondering if you could help me problem solve this.
Thank you,
Jon

Hello,

Thank you for the information, indeed, with the transition to custom avionics devices as part of X-Plane 12, this feature is handled by X-Plane and not by us. We have asked the LR team for clarifications, but most likely the feature/fix will have to come from them.

Thank you very much. I'll await your response. For now, I think I'll just modify the bezel in air manager to fit the pop out screen. Other than that, everything works great. Im running 2 separate 15.6 inch touch screens with air manager. One is running the standard 6-pack with 2 G5s and the other is running my avionics stack with the GTN750. All are integrating and working together.
Thank you again for your help,
Jon
