AFL King Air 350?
#1
I tried to use the TDS GTNXi plugin in the AirfoilLabs KA350. It worked 80% of the way. I could not do a "Direct To" command. Other than that, it was usable. Are you working with them to make the plugin fully compatible with thia great aircraft?

Hello,

Is this a general TDS GTNXi XPlane issue related to the product which occurs in other aircraft as well, or just specific to the AFL KingAir 350?

If it is a general issue, then please provide us with instructions on replicating it.

If it is an AFL KingAir 350 specific issue with the TDS GTNXi XPlane, then we have to let you know that at this moment there is no official integration; the integration will have to come from the AFL side. From TDS we offer our full support for starting a communications channel with AFL, as well as offering our 3d model/textures for the GTN Xi bezel, integration help/datarefs/commands as well as all our expertise. Unfortunately the official integration must be requested to AFL by AFL customers, we are here to assist AFL as soon as they contact us!

It's AFL specific, other planes work as they should.

The direct to function happens with other aircraft as well as approaches not showing up in the flightplan page when loaded.

I have tested the Garmin Trainer and TDSSim standalone app and they do not exhibit this issue.

You can easily test this with the below scenario:

TDS Ver: 1.0.1.1
Aviation Trainer: 3.10.3.0
GTNXI PC Trainer: 20.42.2.0
Aircraft - Default Cessna Skyhawk (Non G1000)
Flightplan - KDCA SWANN V123 RENUE KTEB

ATC issued SOOKI5.SWANN so added SOOKI5 with transition SWANN in the procedures departure page.
Took off ATC moments later gave a heading with direct to SWANN, selected SWANN direct to (usually works).
Given direct to another waypoint and resume own navigation and the direct to will not work.
Close to Teterboro ATC says expect RNAV X 19 via MOOGZ, added this in the approach page and load approach and this will also not show in the flightplan page.
I tried deleting the flight plan and the attached is the result.
Like i said, the Garmin trainer and TDS standalone app doesn't do this and I tried everything to replicate the issue and it behaves as expected.  Also, i am pretty sure this worked in the previous versions as this is a common short flight I normally do and would have notice this issue.

Hello,

This is a bug report independent of the original AFL 350 message, so it would have necessitated its own post, however for the time being, let's keep it here.

We have tried replacing this bug and we are unable to. Which navdata are you using in the TDS GTNXi XPlane? (provider/cycle)

To be sure that we are on the same page, please reinstall the TDS GTNXi XPlane, in case there has been a corrupt install, then let us know how it goes.

Hello,

I reinstalled TDS GTNXi X-Plane and the problem still persist with Airfoillabs and default aircrafts.

I downgraded to my backup of cycle 2511 and the issues disappeared and the GTNXi worked as expected.

I've tested 2302 ( the default navigraph database), 2509, 2510, 2511 cycles and they work without issues.

The problem is cycle 2513 on X-Plane which causes these issues.

Hello,

Thank you for the information, we find this a bit odd as it does not seem like a widespread issue, however at TDS Sim Software all issues are important; this is being looked into.

Did you install a non-standard PC Trainer navigation database?

Case you please upgrade the base Aviation Trainer Launcher from V3.10.3.0 to V3.12.1.0 and let us know if there are any changes?
