Just Flight Archer/XP12 Beta instant sim crash
#1
https://tdssim.com/gtnxixplvcintegration

Hi
I have purchased the 750 series in both MSFS and X-Plane. The product works great and I'm very happy with it.
I want to call notice to the fact that with at least one plane for those using XP12 beta there are serious issues.

Might be worth mentioning on above page the plane is ONLY compatible with release candidate not betas?

I have contacted Just Flight support who say it is a beta issue....but why?

I use XP12 beta (latest from steam) perfectly with the AirSim3D Citation C560XL.

However the moment I try to load the above Archer in XP12 I get instant sim crash and Plugin manager error codes.

The only way to get the Archer to even load in XP12 beta is to completely remove TDS from my plug in folder.

I would rather solve this and get the TD working in the Archer (which is the only reason I purchased that plane from the compatibility list shown above).
Any ideas?
As TDS GTN IS working great with XP12 b and so is the Archer itself.....how can I get all THREE working together?

Note: the UNREGISTERED plane loads up fine the moment it is REGISTERED the sim crashes. Maybe as it is then fully featured?
After registration trying to load the plane = instant crash cannot even access without removing TDS entirely from xp12 directories.

Help!
Please?
Big Grin

Hello,

We have just received a similar report in our Discord channel about this X-Plane bug and we have asked the customer for the X-Plane Log.txt file.

No, we do not know/have more information on this bug, but your post helps. We do not think that this is a TDS GTNXi XPlane bug, but we have asked for the X-Plane. Log.txt so we can forward this bug and discuss this with the Laminar team, maybe it can help.

From the TDS end there are no issues with X-Plane beta versions, in fact we always test our product with each new X-Plane beta version as soon as it is available and there have not been any issues so far.

If it is easier for you, we would recommend continuing this discussion in our Discord, as well as providing us via Discord DM with the Log.txt
Thank you

Hello,

In addition to what has stated above, we have determined that this is a X-Plane beta bug and not a TDS bug, it is just out of coincidence that it occurs with our software, as this bug seems to be widespread.

We suggest following this link where there have been other reports of it:
https://forums.x-plane.org/forums/topic/...-2-is-out/

You can confirm this via the Log.txt entry on the crash.

As other users have reported the bug to LR, we hope that it will be fixed in a new beta.

Hello, thank you, the log file shows the same X-Plane bug as posted in the forum.x-plane.org link above, so we will have to wait for an official update to X-Plane as this is not a TDS bug.
