Transponder Not Reporting on the Ground
#1
I'm in the vflyte arrow.   XP12.4   TDSSim version 3.10.3.0

Altitude Reporting only starts once airborne.

They're about to ban me from flying on PilotEdge because I need alt reporting from the ground...
HELP, please.

I enter a code, press Altitude Reporting, it flashes then immediately goes back to STBY mode.  This happens whether or not "Auto" Mode is checked within the TDSSim Settings page.  it happens when using the on screen 750 or the 650 box from RealSimGear.

They're discouraging me from flying on PilotEdge because I need alt reporting from the ground...

EDIT: Using the on-screen / baked in transponder, I can set a code and it will report on the ground.
it will show as reporting on the 650 box, but ONLY if I use the baked in transponder with my mouse.

I hope that's a useful clue as to where the bug may be hiding.
Help, please?

Hello,

The TDS version provided is incorrect, that is the base Aviation Trainer Launcher version. What is the exact TDS GTNXi version as well as the GTNXi PC Trainer version?
In addition, can you please test the same scenario with the default C172 and let us know how it works?

Auto mode of the transponder should be disabled.

Thanks for following up.

The GTNXi version is 1.1.0.2
The GTNXi PC trainer is 3.10.3.0
Plane: vFlyteAir_ArrowIII_G5_E1000_v12

I tested with the default Cessna and default Cirrus. They both worked flawlessly.

FYI, I updated both to the latest versions.
Still won't report using the 650.

Hello,

As both the default Cessna and Cirrus work fine, then it seems that this is an aircraft specific issue where the vFlyteAir Arrow III has "master" control over the transponder, thus overriding the TDS GTNXi. In this case, the solution must come from the aircraft side, as the TDS GTNXi works well.

In addition, you are running an old version of the TDS GPS Manager, we suggest downloading the latest from the TDS Sim Software website.
You also have a very outdated TDS GTNXi MSFS version.
