Hi

While trying to install the GTN Xi PC trainer with the TDS GPS manager, I get this message:

local\AppData\Local\Temp\aa53a591-6d9f-4132-9454-6e2a9bca6a8d.gtim file does not exist.

What do you suggest I do?

Hello,

This error has to do with the Windows Username having a space. Can you confirm that you have received a message within the TDS GPS Manager with instructions on this?

There is a quick workaround.

Start the base Aviation Trainer Launcher, access the Version Manager tab, scroll down until you find the GTNXi PC Trainer V20.42.2 and select Install.

Then you can continue with the TDS GPS Manager install process. Please let us know how it goes.

Yes, I did receive a message about the space in my window username... and did nothing about it.

I did your workaround and it fixed the problem.. temporarily. My RSG GTN750 worked great, until it simply went away and gave me nothing but a light blue, blank screen.

What I plan now is to redo Windows as necessary to set up a new user account without a space. Does this seem wise to you?

As you have been able to install the PC Trainer, then this step has passed. We can help you with anything that is TDS related, but not entirely with RSG.

Does the TDS GTNXi XPlane function if you start it as a 2d pop-up from the X-Plane plugins menu? Even on the same screen as X-Plane.

There is no need to reinstall Windows t this stage as we need to confirm that the TDS GTNXi XPlane is functioning correctly, first.

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying this; in this case this is not a TDS issue, as the TDS GTNXi is working fine. From the TDS end, in regards to RealSimGear integration, you need to select the appropriate monitor from the X-Plane Menu\Plugins\TDSGTNXi\desired Unit (Unit1 usually)\Settings.Then activate full screen.

In case there are issues, they would be hardware related and we suggest getting in touch with RealSimGear.
