I have purchased the RV14a from SimWorksStudios and a RealSimGear GTN650xi and the TDS software.  I'm having an issue because the panel in the SWS RV14a has a GTN750, and when I pop it out and move it over to the screen of my RSG GTN650 the aspect ratio is all wrong because the 750 has a bigger screen than the 650.

I've tried launching the TDS software before launching MSFS24 and can use it to open a GTN650xi and move this over onto the RSG GTN650's screen and everything looks great.  But then once I open MSFS24 the graphic disappears from the screen of the GTN650 and if I try to bring it back using the TDS software it says it is in 'Gauge mode' and I can't really change anything.

What am I doing wrong here?

I have another question related to the XPLANE 12 And the TDS-GTN Receiving a Crossfill l flight plan from the XPlane 530.
I have a program call FlightStreamX that will send a flight plan from my iPad ForeFlight to xplane12. But the XPLANE 12 .FPL file is not sent to the TDSGTN .GFP file.
Any suggestions?

I just got a new PC, installed the SIM and the TDS GPS Manager software so I could have the GTNXi panels on my aircraft... well, unfortunately, I keep getting a black screen on every aircraft I try.
I’ve already reinstalled the software a few times, but nothing... it’s all black!
I also added an exception to the firewall after reading a previous post, but even that didn’t work...
What should I do? Please help me.

Hi, I'm using the GTN in VR mode in MSFS24.  It's very delayed and sluggish.  Soon as I come out of VR mode, it runs perfectly.  I am not using Antivirus when the flight simulator is running so nothing to exclude.   Just wondering if there is any way to get better perfomance from the GTN in VR.   Everything else is running smooth in VR, it's just the GTN which slows down considerably.   Thanks again !

I am using the Just Flight Piper Archer iii in XPlane 12 and just installed TDS GTNXi.

When I click Power On in the Garmin Trainer Avionics Demos or Aircraft Trainers, everything seems to work fine there, but in XPlane when I do plugins > TDS GTNXi > GTNXi1 > Show Window the GTNXi750 window appears but is blank.  Same for GTNXi2.  My avionics are powered on (built-in GNS 530 is working).

I am using version 1.0.1.7 of the TDS GPS Manager.

Looking at the Garmin Aviation Trainer Launcher > Version Manager, I have version 3.10.3.0 of the Garmin Launcher (which was the version recommended by TDSGPSManager.exe), with version 21.3.7.0 of GTN Xi, version 20.42.2.0 of GTN Xi, and version 3.62.2.0 of TXi.  I wasn't sure from the instructions if there were specific versions of GTN Xi I needed to install.

Oddly, after attempting a re-install, the TDS GPS manager is showing that GTNXI PC Trainer is Not Installed, with Available Version: 20.42.2, even though the Version Manager in the Garmin Launcher shows 20.42.2.0 as installed.  Clicking Download and Install for GTNXI PC Trainer in TDS GPS Manager says to Please Select the Desired Component GTNXI Trainer, but the only active button available is the Back button.  I don't think I was seeing this odd behavior in my initial install.

I did a quick check with several of the built-in XPlane 12 planes and saw the same behavior, so I'm thinking this is not specific to my Just Flight plane.

I'm kind of stuck at this point (despite being a software engineer!).  I did try searching the forums; I tried reinstalls, reinstall as admin, etc. but might have missed something.   Any other diagnostic suggestions?

Tried to set different power sources (Always On, Avionics bus, Bus#1, Bus#2) with Thranda Wilga and Piper Seneca. Screens are blank and pop-outs do not appear like the TDS units were not powered.
Plugin is loaded: "Loaded: C:\X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/TDSGTNXi/64/win.xpl (tds.gtnxi.plugin)."

Hello All

Please can someone kindly outline where am I going wrong.  I feel I have tried everything.  I am trying to import my Simbrief route into the GTNxi. 

I cannot seem to import the .GFP file. I believe I have exported the .GFP file in the correct location.  But it will not upload to the GTNxi.  Can someone please assist and help me getting started.  I have had tried another of wats to import the route from Simbrief, but have sadly failed.

Hello,

VR special build 1.0.1.3 does not work.  I tried on a 2nd clean install with the below versions with no success.

X-Plane 12.4.3-b1-d3b30dc1
X-Plane 12.4.0-r2-9b69b91a
X-Plane 12.3.0-r3-c0eef4da

When going into the menu in VR and selecting show window the 2d gauge window will not popup in VR but in the 3d cockpit.

Hi, 

I constantly have a discordance bewteen AIRAC in Navigraph (newest) and AIRAC in my GTNXi (oldest it seems). Therefore the Flight Plan I made with Navigraph is not available in my GTN750.

For instance today Navigrah gives me a STAR for FACT GETEN 1C and my GTN offers GETEN 1A or 1B only. 

How can I fix that ?

Tried Timing a vfr leg today with the flight timer in the utility section. Noticed time was ticking approx. Only every 3 seconds so beeing way too slow. Also the elapsed time and Time Shown were way off after 1hr flight.
Is that a known issue? Where could be the problem?
