GTN750 does not read *gfp flight plans any more
#1
Hi,
I noticed the GTN no longer imports the flight plans I create in LittleNavMap. I include two flight plans:
The LFBZ_LESU.gfp should contain one locked waypoint, as the airport LENA is not in the GTN database. But it contains two locked waypoints.
The LFBZ_LESU user.gfp should contain only user waypoints, but in the sim (2024), it depicts the departure airport, one locked waypoint, and the destination airport.
I have been using LNM for years now without a problem. What could be the problem?
The GTN Trainer software Version3.10.3.0 and the Flight Sim Version 1.3.1.3 are installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello,

We have loaded both GFP files without an issue.

To rectify what you are seeing, you need to have the same navdata cycle in both LNM and the TDS GTNXi Pro.
Loading the provided GFP files with the Navigraph navdata cycle 2603 will not provide any locked waypoints, even LENA will display.

Thank you. Strange that it worked until recently with a 23-02 Navigraph Database in the GTN and a 24-01 database in LNM. But then I will update my Navigraph Cycle for both, the GTN and LNM.

Hello,

Our official position is that both the TDS GTNXi navdata s well as the simulator's/LNM/other dependent software to be linked to the same cycle/same supplier.

That makes perfect sense! I will change the Navigation source in the TDS GTNXi App to "Flight Simulator" and do the same for LNM, then it should work.

Hello,

From the TDS side, please do not change the Navigation Source to Flight Sim, that is the autopilot control and it is a legacy feature which will be removed. From the TDS side you just need to install the TDS Navigraph DB from Navigraph Hub.
