Traffic Greyed Out

Hi,

I am new to the GTNXI recently, and have it running perfectly in the Black Square Caravan on MSFS24.
When I first had it installed I was getting traffic on my map display.

I recently updated to the current version of the GTNXI and now I no longer get any traffic on the map and on the home screen on both the 750 and 650 the traffic page is greyed out and I can't select it.

Almost certainly something I've done, as I was modifying the map settings to my liking but does anyone have any idea how I can get my traffic back?

Hello,

Which GTNXi PC Trainer version are you running? This is displayed on the startup, database info page.

You can also delete the flash memory (note that the flight plan catalog\user waypoints\settings will be deleted)

From inside the main folder:
C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers
Delete ONLY these folders:
Navigator_Xi1 to Navigator_Xi_4

Is deleting those folders the only option, as it took me ages to find all the right settings I want to use on the map?

You could try uninstalling the PC Trainer V21.3.7 via the Aviation Trainer Launcher, Version Manager tab, then install V20.42.

Regardless, for now, please backup the above-mentioned folders, then if the PC Trainer reversion did not work, delete them, let us know if it solves the issue of traffic.

Thanks, but I decided to bite the bullet and remove everything, clear out all the data folders and start again.

Did a complete re-install from scratch and everything is working again. Have the traffic back, and also just realised that previously as well as losing the traffic also lost the SiriusXM weather.
Not sure what happened, why it went like that but all is working correctly again.
Also now that I'm more familiar with the unit it didn't take long at all to get the map settings set up again.

Really great product, was hesitant to spend the money at first as I'm not a GA flier, but its been absolutely amazing in the Caravan, well worth the price.
